Toshiba satellite laptop keyboard

Hello,
I have an toshiba satellite laptop with windows vista home basic operating system it is around two years old it has been working great until my room mate cleaned the keyboard he did not turn the computer off before he cleaned it he pushed many keys all at once it started beeping he shut it down and restarted it now the number keys from 5 to 0 and the plus and minus keys no longer work as well as the Q , T , Y, U , I , O , H . keys none of these keys work any longer someone had said there is a way to unlock these keys by pushing the right combonation of keys atthe same time please help if you can the onscrean keyboard works fine

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear Dracul,

There is a possibility that there have been some specific functions that have been assigned to different keys.

Deactivate them one by one. It should normally work. If the problem persists, there might be some

malfunctioning hardware problem and hence I would you recommend you to send your laptop at a

proper computer technician for settling up the matter.
