Vista Desktop comp goes 2 a BLACK screen

I have a desktop computer Vista and when i start the computer it always says press F1 to continue or Del for setup and i press F1 to continue after that it goes to ask me to boot with Safe mode, Safe mode with apps, Etc., Etc., Start windows normally. Any option i have chosen takes me to a black screen in which does nothing and i have tried waiting forever and it still does not load up

Hi there,

if you have the set up cd

that is the windows installer cd

insert it and boot from it

and make a repair

this will solve this issue
