How to retrieve files from a dead laptop [Solved/Closed]

hi! my one-year-old acer aspire one netbook won't turn on and i'm thinking of bringing it to acer for servicing coz i don't know anymore how to make it work again. (this has happened to me about 4x already and i already tried doing the bios thing but it didn't work.) i'm wondering...is there a way that i can get my files from my dead acer? coz i have documents there (which i'm afraid i have no back-up copies of) that i need to print asap. thanks!

hi there,

purchase an external hard disk 2.5 casing

see the type if ide or sata

then fit the hard drive in the casing

and use it as a pendrive via usb

on other pc/laptop and remove the files you need
