Instalation of Linux

Hi all,

I am a windows user i have make a partition on my hardisk to be able to make installation of Linux.

but i am having a problem after having trying more that one version of Linux for the setup it still not recognize my hardisk.

I have a sata HD

Please find below the description of my pc

120 Gv

Nec dual core 2.80 Ghz

equiped with an Intel Mother board,.




I really need to experience Linux on my machine please help.

Hi,

Your whole hard disk isn't recognized or only the partition you created in order to install Linux? (btw what distribution?)

The partition you made should be in EXT 2 or EXT 3, not in NTFS. Vous avez beaucoup d'avenir derrière vous. :-(

HI jeruvy23,,please tryt to get try to get the latest version n and it should be fine dear dont worry about it theyb will explain to u how to to install it
