Hello,

My Samsung VP CP171 does not turn on.

The camera does not switch on. The battery light comes on as a solid green light when plugged into the battery charger (which normally indicates that it is fully charged). Once it is unplugged and we try and turn it on, nothing happens. It seems dead and no lights or noise can be heard. We have taken it to a camera shop where they checked the battery and they said there was nothing wrong with the battery.

Do you have any suggestions as what it can be? Is there an internal fuse or something that might have blown?

Regards,
Neil

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear Neildave,

It might be that the battery life is over.

Try getting at a camera repair store and check it out.

Thanks.
