My interent gets an IP address but no interne

Hello,
Yesterday i disconnected my CAT 6 cable to move some things around. When i reconnected it my internet found an IP address but when i pull up a internet browser, it thinks it found the page, but it displays nothing. I have released and renewed my IP address, turned off the firewall, tried rolling back and reinstalling drivers. I even released the DNS subnet mask and renewed that. I cannot figure out why my computer doesn't find the internet. I even rolled back my computer from 3 days ago to see if something got changed. Nothing did. I would like any help as soon as possible. Please help.

Running windows XP SP3, used firefox, IE and chrome.

No smart remarks, i am on my roomates computer.
