I think its to do with the memory capacity of your printer.
according to the manual it only has the ability to store 8mb data (about 600 pages a4)so if, in one period you received a lot of faxes then you may only have a couple of weeks worth, in another period you may not have received a lot so you may have more than a months worth.
hope that helps.
A better setup for your situation would be to have your printer setup to recieve faxes to your pc, that way you will have all copies in a directory on your computer. that way any faxes you need to reprint will be available.

well it is only showing in the fax activity about 15 faxes no where near the 600. does it say wher ei can go in and expand the print out of fax axtivity. becuase i am just hitting reports then fax activity then it is pringtin out the list is it anyway to do it another way or adjust or ask it to print the max activity. thanks for your help

perusing through the manual i can not see any option for increasing number of pages to keep.
