Problem with iphone 3G

Hello,
hi i have aprobllem with my i phone i have updated the new version 3 and it was very good but when i conected my pc to iphone i made back up and when i looked at my iphone i saw that some of my programs are lost like yahoo messenger and im shape sirvice and others , do u think i madde amistake or what???? please answer me coz im not so good in these field huh i will be very thankfull
