Broken Ipod? pls help

I had my ipod for 4 days and in the 4th day i was listening to music when suddenly it turned off and it wont turn on again... I tried reseting it, it still wudnt work. I tried charging it, woudnt charge. And in the 5th day i tried to charge it... Then i restarted it while chargine and the apple Logo appeared... But when i release the Menu and the Middle button it turns off... I need help

what model ipod is it? and how is it charged?
