i'm using hp pavilion 6767tx lappy,i saw many web sites but hey r not wokin......
my desktop effects r not enabling..............

You can go for vlc player. Which plays all format of audio and video. or You can use mplayer. Simple command to install player is : yum -y install mplayer

Try to install wine software ....through that u can easily install u r windowsmedia player in u r Linux.wine is a s/f that is used as an intrupter b/t the Linux and u r .exe file.
