Problem with Sound forge 9

Hi

I am trying to install sound forge 9 on my system but each time installation is failing and saying that netpassport is require to continue installation

What is a netpassport?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

To install sound forge you must let it download a netpassword from the internet to be able to use it or otherwise you will not be able to use the software re-launch the setup

It will also download a dotfx.exe this is not a spyware

I also use sound forge and i had to make the same process.
