NOT ABLE TO ACCESS OTHER COMPS ON NETWORK

Hello,

I have 4 PCs, 2 desktop and 2 Laptops, in my home network. I use a Linksys router. 1 desktop is conencted via a network cable, rest connect to the Internet wirelessly through the router. All of them can acccess the Internet. All have seperate IP address but I cannot access contents of other PCs from any computer. I use Win XP Pro SP2 on all of them.

I wan to share ceratin folders on the network, so that all PCs can access it.

Please help

First thing to do is to create a local server, then you will be able to share files

Please follow below Steps:


1: Go to Control Panel
2:Click on Network Setup Wizard


You will get this message Welcome to the Network Setup Wizard
This Wizard will help you set up this computer to run on your network

-Select on

3:Share files and folders and next


Once all devices installed go to my Network places

Clcik on setup a home or small office network then follow the steps

Also make sure the firewall is disabled and they all have the same workgroup name and the same IP address class range.
