Hello
My sound all of sudden stopped working on my HPdv2500 notebook. The strange thing is that my sound works through my itunes, but that is all. One day the sound just stopped working. I can't listen to the news or go onto youtube, everything is silent, including when my computer starts up. I went to sound settings and could not find anything that was out of the ordinary. My notebook is a year old. I do not download anything on my computer and i have virus protection so I have no clue what is going on. I do not have the user manual. If anybody could help me that would be amazing :)

ALSO my computer is not recognizing the C-drive for some reason. I put DVDs or CDs or disks in it and it simply doesn't recognize them. It doesn't look like I even have a C-drive on my computer when i go into "my computer."

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.11
