Hello,

I am unable to open iTunes. A pop up window reads: The iTunes application could not be opened. The required folder cannot be found. I have tried the press and hold shift key and launch method to no avail.

Any takers?

Hi iveal,

I've tried. When I try to uninstall iTunes, I get another pop up that reads "Could not access network location %APPDATA%\. I can open songs from "my computer" with QuickTime. iTunes will open in the guest account in the same computer, so I know the problem is user-specific.

Thanks,

Due to other system problems I had been experiencing, I decided to do a complete system recovery. I took my computer back to the day I bought it. I had to reinstall every program over again. This erased ALL my iTunes music, so be sure to back up your music to an external hard drive or disc(s). If you have a different user account and iTunes opens there, you can share your music files into that iTunes. From there you should be able to backup your music.

Hope this helps!
