Need help with dell puter

Hello, i am having problems witha a dell puter not mine a friends i go to try and turn it on i get a blue screen that says no boot volume so i tryed going into bios and looking at seeting is says there are no sata hard drivers no onboard ide drivers and no onboard usb-cd -rom driver how may i fix this but remember i cant boot to windows all i get is a blue screen thank you for your time
