Download realplayer 11 from www.real.com install the program and then every time you watch something on youtube realplayer's option "Download this video" will appear. download the video you like then convert it into mpg format. hope that helps

Powerpoint support mp4.
Youtube is FLV format.
change flv to mp4 than you can import them to Powerpoint

It's not hard to do, but is it a good idea? Assuming you're playing the PPT onto a screen in front of a bunch of people, almost all the videos on YouTube won't have a good enough quality to make you look good - that's because of the way they're converted/stored/displayed on the YouTube servers.

There are some good ones, sure, but please, please, please make sure you've doe a decent test first!

You can try http://www.powerpoint-converter.net/ and they will put the ppt as flash file.
Or you can convert the ppt file to flash format using some powrpoint to flash/flv converter

Well, you need to convert the youtube video before insert 'coz Powerpoint doesn't support flv video file.

try this free converter: SUPER: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

or use some software that support importing youtube flv vidoe and make some video editing before output as video format that are supported by Powerpoint, inluding these:

* avi:
* mov (QuickTime) :
* mpg:
* rm (RealMedia):
* wmv (WindowsMedia):

Anybody else have any problem with Media Player just the playing the audio and a visualisation rather than the video? I can't find a work around, any idea's?
