Hello,
Hi Everybody,
I have a Laptop A few Days ago i installed ( Internet Explorer 08 ) Then I restarted it. After the restart , the windows stated normally but there was no icon or toolbar and no start button i mean there is only the background image and nothing else i don't know what happened to my PC and The CD-Rom doesn't work so i can't Format The Computer Through CD .
Please I need Help .

Hi,



I can you provide more information concerning the version of windows that you are using ?


If all you icons disappear it is just an the explorer application that is not working , you d'ont need to format your system.

Just follow below steps :



Press on ALT CTRL DELETE


Windows task bar will appear

Then Click on File -select run


Type explorer.exe

You should get all your icons back:)

Thank You Very Much For Your Answer Mr.Bizzounours .
I did What you told me to do and it worked but what is the next step to get my explorer file back So i can get my icons and toolbar . And my Windows Version Is Windows XP Sp3 And i use a ( Compaq Series PP2130 )
