How can I get rid of the Chrome extension?

After searching for some free software and installing it on my PC, I've encountered an issue. Despite numerous attempts to uninstall it, I can't seem to get rid of the Chrome extension. Permission to access any site is granted by the "embed Opt" extension. Despite using Adwcleaner 8.3.0, Hitman Pro, and CCleaner, the extension keeps reappearing after I've rebooted my PC. As a result, I'm stumped as to where that extension originated from or how to get rid of it for good.
Hopefully, the CCM Team and the user can come up with a solution for it. It will be appreciable.

What error does it give when you try to remove the chrome extension?

Have you tried reinstalling chrome?

Hi,

Do you sync Chrome with your Google account? If yes, try turning off sync, uninstall that extension and reboot your PC.

If the extension doesn't reappear, you will need to reset your Chrome sync data. To do so, go to the Chrome Sync page, then select Reset Sync.

After that, you can turn on sync in Chrome.
