Facebook page refuses to stay open when I log

Hello,

Everytime I log in to Facebook the program closes out. I came to this forum and tried the link using the letter s after "http" and still the page closed out. However, on my boyfriend's computer I have no problem. We live together and our computers are in the same room and access the internet through the same modem.
My computer uses Windows XP. His uses Vista.
This is very frustrating as it has been happening for a week now and nothing I do is able to correct it.
Is there anythiung out there that i'm missing in terms of trying to correct this problem?

I have the same problem!

What to do?

Any website that includes 'facebook' in it just closes out or shuts off on my computer.
