How to Change an Image File Name without changing its postion in a folder ?

each time i rename an image file within a folder its postion change from upside to downside the folder or the opposite i did change the sort order from name (alphabet) to date but the problem still remains.

Hello, if it is going from the top to the bottom (or vice versa), I would say that it is then organising by data / most recently opened or modified.

On this page of the Microsoft forum, I found this solution:
  • Type gpedit.msc in the Start menu’s search box and then press Enter.
  • Navigate to User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components, and then select Windows Explorer in the left column of the Group Policy editor.
  • Double-click Turn off numerical sorting in Windows Explorer in the Settings section of the Group Policy editor.
  • Select Enable and then click OK to save the changes.
