"Add contacts" does not search for new contact

Hello,

Recently added a new contact. Under the contact tab, then Lists tab, then selecting a list I created, then selecting Edit,
I am unable to search for this new contact. Other contacts, old contacts show up. The new contact I created has a name and email address, yet under the "add contacts" section this contact won't show up.
