Hello,
I think I may have a virus on my Acer 5050. After the Acer screen it displays Windows Error recovery with two options Launch startup repair and Start windows normally. It doesn't matter which I pick it comes back to the same screen. I have tried the F8 button but not sure what to do to restore the factory settings. Help

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Press F8 when your laptop starts!

Then do a system restore:

Press start, All programs, Accessories, system tools, System Restore!

Hi,
I tried the F8 button and now I get Advanced Boot Options but there isn't anything obvious that would allow me to restore the settings
