I put a Linux O.S. on a pendrive as full install. It's on the second partition of said pendrive. The boot flag is marked and it's a "primary, active" partition. The first partition is also "primary, active". First partition is not marked "boot".(good reason...there's no O.S. there). However, it won't boot up the Linux O.S. I'm at a loss as what to do next? Here are the specs: [SanDisk 256Gb-3.0 CruzerGlide...2 partitions-1st.~200Gb(136Gb used) primary, active partition 2nd ~33.5 Gb(8Gb used) primary, active with "boot"] Can anyone explain what I need to do, or have done wrong in order to get it to "boot"?
Thanx

What is keeping you from eliminating the first partition?

ac3mark;

I already have an Linux O.S. on the second partition....how do I "change" the mount point of the first partition to root...as you suggested. I have GParted open, but something tell me this is something I have to do through/via the terminal?

I understand.

You do have access to the same build on the second partition, right?
