How can i make 5 computer lan with switch

Hello,
I am Ashok Singh Shekhawat From Jaipur (rajasthan).
in office there are 6 computer we connected them as a LAN .
all computers working on windows xp
we connect them trouth a 8 port swith
and also wants that all computers use internet
and makes a computer server.
Please tell me step by step.

Hello,

You will need a router, switch and cables!
Just connect the switch to the router and connect all the pc to the switch using the ports!
You must describe what type of server you want to setup?
Is it a file server or a domain server?

I read your ans .but ser i do't have the knowledge of n/w so please tell me step by step.
