Hello,

My Acer laptop which I have doesn't find any Wi-Fi networks, it worked totally fine for a year and I have been using the same connectionever since I bought the laptop but since yesterday it's saying that no Wi-Fi connections found but other devices can connect to the net.

perhaps you can use an external USB wifi adapter. It's possible your internal wifi hardware has failed.
