Hello, what does the red bracket around the mcafee antivirus v shield i and what does it mean when the small yellow i appear on the mcafee m symbol

Hi there,

It may mean that your AV needs updating but it could mean other things too.

My AV was up to date and it was still showing the red brackets. Right-clicking suggested I look at the log which I did and all it was doing was letting me know it hadn't allowed an .exe I was testing to run - so it might not be that you're out of date - it could be some other condition too.
