With its ability to capture up to 30 images per second, Active WebCam can broadcast videos from any video device (either USB cameras or digital/analog cameras) without installing any plug-ins. Therefore, you can use this program to create your own video surveillance system. Moreover, it can be configured in order to emit sound alarms or send e-mails with a photo when the camera detects suspect movements.
