Description:
Hotspot Shield is a software that allows protection of your system during an internet session. Using the HTPPS encryption, the application hides the IP address when make your transactions on the web. During all the time you are on the net, you are identified as being "Anonymous". Using Hotspot Shield, you do have to worry about your details as it hides your password, credit card account number and other private information.

Advantages:
You can access all the contants of a website without any censorship and you can bypass firewalls as well.
The software is completely free.
It is of only 3Mb, so will not consume much of the hard disk memory.

Disadvantages:
It is not available for other operating systems like Mac or Linux

It Anchors a advertisement banner in IE and Firefox. This is probably why they call it Anchor Free. It also may have back door access capabilities. It creates some type of VPN on your system. Dont trust it. "Warning Stay Away"
