Super Pi is a software was designed for overclocking, it allows to test floating decimal point and mathematics performances of a processor.
The test consists in calculating the part PI value with the CPU, the number being infinite, CPU load CPU is important.
One can select several lengths of calculations, from 16 KB to 32 MB.
The calculation is based on value 1 Mo which is universally recognized, it is a reference in overclocking.
This utility does not manage the multicores as a native, but it is possible to avoid the problem by launching Super PI many times as long as there are cores; the single precaution: each launching of Super Pi must be done in a different directory.
