Recover My Files is a useful tool for file recovery if you have forgotten important files after formatting, emptying the bin, partition problem or any other incident which causes file removal. Either your file is Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher or a jpg image … all of them can be restored. Even if you have no particular data-processing competence, you can recover all file-systems of Windows: FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS.
When you launch Recover My Files, it will identify several information types on your system so that you can identify the file to be recovered. To do that, it is going to read Master File Table (MFT) which contains the list of the files which were on your hard disk. If the MFT is destroyed, it will use other means to locate them. Moreover, you can view what you would like to backup before launching the process.
