Chat Watch is a monitoring program and recording of conversations carried out on instant messaging software (AOL Instant Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ, MSN/Windows Live Messenger, MySpace IM, Yahoo! Messenger). It is mainly intended to the parents wishing to ensure their children's safety on the internet.
The program records all the conversations, backups and allows you to find them easily thanks to history, which you can organize in categories. It also allows to deactivate a software, or some functionalities of it. Moreover, Chat Watch is able to alert you by e-mail when it detects inappropriate words, and can automatically define the “ASL” (age, sex, localization) of a user. Finally, the application is extremely discreet, and its use is completely invisible by the eyes of the supervised users.
