  • MD5 hash comparison
  • Will hunt for default files used by rootkits
  • Wrong file permissions for binaries
  • Will hunt for suspected strings in LKM and KLD modules
  • Will hunt for for hidden files
  • Optional scanning within files that are of plaintext and binary format.


Advantages:

The tool will scan for rootkits through backdoors and local exploits through a series of tests.

Disadvantages:
Not designed for Windows OS
