AdBlock Plus is one of the classics of Firefox extensions, it blocks already in the standard popup window: AdBlock goes further by removing ads designated within the pages.
This extension is able to remove 99% of advertising!
The advantages?
  • More horrible flashing banners
  • One more advantage of the resolution of the screen to read the articles
  • The pages load faster (since the ads are not downloaded).

To block ads, you have 2 options (that you can use simultaneously)
  • Use predefined lists provided (that work very well, as this list)
  • Enter your own links to block

AdBlock Plus is able to block images, Flash animations, iframes, scripts, etc..
