GIMPShop is a modification of the free program GIMP. It has been modified to approach the interface and the functions of Photoshop. Its objective is to familiarize the users of Photoshop with GIMP.
It shares all the advantages of GIMP including the long list of functions and customization to correct only the considerable criticisms on the interface of the program.
GIMPShop modifies:
· the structure of the menu to look like Photoshop,
· the terminology of the program to correspond to Photoshop …
Although GIMPShop does not support Photoshop plugins, all GIMP plugins such as filters, brushes and the others remain valid.
