The driver Intel ® Matrix Storage Manager supplies a high capacity RAID support high and tolerates mistakes (RAID-5 and RAID-10) for ATA Serial disks of machines on base of chipsets Intel ® P965, 975X, 955X and 945.

It also supplies the support for the RAID 0 (high performance) and RAID-1 ( redundancy) for chipsets Intel ® P965, 975X, 955X, 945, 925 and 915.

It supplies an AHCI support on platforms of Intel ® P965, 975X, 955X, 945, 925 and 915 as well as on platforms of Intel ® Mobile 915/910.

Note: the Intel technology ® RAID requires the presence of a hub Intel ® 82801HR I/O controller hub ( ICH8R), Intel ® 631xESB / 632xESB I/O controller hub, Intel ® 82801GR / GH I/O controller hub ( ICH7R / DH) or Intel ® 82801FR I/O controller hub ( ICH6R).
