Inno Setup is a completely free installer. It creates executable allowing to install software that you have developed. The installation of a software packaged with InnoSetup is very simple and its deinstallation is also supported.
So, InnoSetup allows to display easily your applications, even for a commercial use. Inno Setup notably possesses the following features:
- Exhaustive support of the 64- bit editions - Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 editions. The x64 and Itanium architectures are supported.
- Creation of a single EXE file allowing to install the software.
- Visual assistant with Windows 2000 / XP typical interface.
- Possibility of a customizable installation (eg: Full , Custom, Minimal).
- Complete deistallation possibility.
- Support for the decompression of bzip2, 7-Zip archives.
- Creation of shortcuts, including in the start menu and on the desktop.
