VirtualDub is a tool of capture and edition of videos for platforms Windows 32 - bit (98 / Me / NT4 / 2000 / XP / Vista). VirtualDub is an allowing free software, following the example of Adobe Premier, to perform heavy operations on files videos.
It has in addition to the group throughputs allowing to treat several videos in simultaneous and its functionalities can be spread thanks to additional filters developed by thirds.
VirtualDub is envisaged to treat of files AVI (DivX, Xvid, etc), but allows nevertheless to read (not write) files MPEG-1 and pictures BMP.
