Xtremsplit serves for cutting big files in small fragments of size defined by the user.
For example you have to pass on a big file to a friend by email. You notice that the maximal authorized for attached files is 10 Mb.
With Xtremsplit, you select the file to be cut, choose the size of the parts, and you click the button to cut.
