Ares is a freeware of P2P allowing the users to share any types of files, whether they are images, audio files, software, videos, documents, etc.
The peculiarity of the Ares network is to be a centralized network, therefore it is a particularly successful download utility.
The default port of Ares Galaxy is 32285. However, Ares Galaxy uses the dynamic ports and can automatically adapt itself to use alternative ports such as the 80 port (HTTP).
