Twitter is once again experiencing an overload to its extremely popular social site.
Yesterday, for the second time in Januarary, Twitter's site was temporarily shut down. Even after the site was restored, users still had issues accessing the website and with problems via mobile applications as well. The new mobile app by Twitter, called Vine, which was recently in the news for X-rated videos, received technical difficulties also. After three hours the problem was worked out and Twitter addressed its users stating "This issue has now been resolved. We apologize to users who were affected by this, and we're working to ensure that similar issues do not occur."
A couple weeks earlier, users were confronted with the recognized and adorable fail whale once again. Numerous Twitter fans were having issues with sending larger character messages and having trouble attaining the site. A similar occurrence also happened last year in July. Twitter has greatly improved its server since repeated complications had occurred a few years back, however, lately the fail whale error page seems to be living up to its bad reputation.
