| Description | The e.GO universal solar charger provides functions previously restricted to high-end mains equipment, combined with the advantages of an independent, solar-powered charger and maintenance unit. It features the latest solar cell technology, patented electronic circuits and charging methods and is powered by the advanced built-in solar cells. e.GO! charges 2 or 4 AA batteries and equipment such as mobile phones, PDAs, digital cameras, etc. from the mains or 12 V connection. The energy from the solar cells stored in the rechargeable batteries is used as a buffer. The output power can be selected for the external equipment, between 1.3 and 4 W. The output voltage is set by the adapter cable and ranges from 4 to 14 V. The operating and charge status are indicated by LEDs. Rechargeable batteries are optimally charged using an intelligent, built-in microprocessor-controlled charging process with temperature monitoring and deep discharge protection.
