Hello,
I am having a HP pavilion dv6000 series of laptop which has stopped booting since yesterday night. This has got Vista home premium loaded on it. All the lights come up also the processor runs but the screen is just blank. I have tried tapping many keys while booting , no use. No clue what is happening and what can be done.
Kindly help

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,
remove the battery, press and hold down the power button for about 20 seconds.
place back the battery and then restart you computer.
this should fix the problem.
or else it may be a hardware problem.
