Forgot my xp windows pc password

Hello,

i forgot my windows xp password & my user name is "abc " then what should i do. what is my master code.

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi ,

Open ur cpu and open ur CMOS and hold for 5 minutes then again put the CMOS and strat the machine . If the problem is not resolved then type user name Administrator and press enter then go to my computer and right click on my computer go to manage and click on local user and groups then double click on user and then right click on ur user name having abc and click on set password then set ur new password and relogin ur account .

Hi.
Plez don't b angry but i want to solve my problems.In the desktop its ok but what about laptops?n also i m the administrator n i forgot my password.Now how can i open,is there any solutions?

If you’ve lost your Windows password and you’re locked out of your computer, you can use the Windows Password Recovery Tool 2.0 to recover your password(s). This tutorial will guide you through doing just that.

Start by downloading the indows Password Recovery Tool 2.0 .iso file.
Burn the .iso file to CD. If you need help creating a boot CD from the .iso file, see this tutorial.
After you’ve burned the .iso, set your computer to boot from your CD/DVD drive (make sure the CD is in the drive).
You’ll be presented with the Password Recovery Tool 2.0 menu. Leave the default selected and hit enter on your keyboard (or just wait 5 seconds for it to automatically boot).
