Booting CD for FC6

Hello,

Friends, i want to create Boot CD for my Fedora 6 OS, which is already installed in my computer. I do not have floopy drive, and i don't know how to create boot CD or DVD.

Any Help Thanks in Advance.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello

I am not sure if this is a Mandriva specific utility, but you can create a boot disk using mkbootdisk. If you have this package installed, read the man page to see how to create a boot is o image.

Hi,

If you had installed fedora 6 by using "Fedora core 6 DVD", check the "images" folder in that DVD, it has Bootable CD image, burn it to CD by using Nero CD burner in windows xp. you can use that CD as bootable / Live CD.

in case if you had installed from CDs, check the Fedora CDs pack, it should have one CD, which is known as Rescue Disc, you can use that CD as Bootable / Live CD.
