Hello,

My laptop will not power on at all. I followed the self tech support through Dell by taking my battery out and plugging it to the ac adapter only. When I plug it into the ac adapter it shorts out the adapter. I have tried it on another adapter and it did the same thing. Unplugged the adapter and plugged it back into the other laptop and it worked fine. Please help!!

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.9
