Hello,
Between two widely separated parts of our intranet there is a legacy narrow bandwidth leased line.
I want internet browser sessions on a group of PC's at the other end of this leased line, that is connecting to a particular URL, to route to a web server on the network at the other end of the leased line, but do it via the internet rather than the intranet. This is because it will be less hungry in the use of our available internal resources.
Is this possible via manipulation of routing tables ?
I'm an applications person, not a network specialist. I want to be able to frame this question in a way that will not make my ignorance too obvious.
