How to download & boot ps2 roms

Hello,
i have just downloaded megaman x8 and did the set up, and tryed playing it but it said insert disc. what is with this. also why does it take 99 hours to down load these games. where can i go to download good working eazy to download playstation two games. i would like to know if i get these emulators, and roms, and put them on a dvd format disc can i play them on my xbox 360. thanks for your time, and god speed be with you all that are games.
