I am using YM. MSN contact see me as offline.

Hello, I am using Yahoo Messenger (9.0.0.2160) and I have contacts using MSN/hotmail added in my list. One day while I was online, my friend told me he see me as offline. I checked on my other contacts using MSN and they see me as offline too while my YM contacts see me as online.

Just wondering could this be some bug? Or maybe I have a virus? This is the first time it happened after using YM for many years.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.10

Yes my status is online but still msn/hotmail users see me as offline. i also check if i logged in by invisible mode, but no.

I figured out the problem to this! It has to do with your visibility in settings. because I have accounts on yahoo and MSN. Did you right click on the user and it might say "appear offline to <msn ID>" I was able to successfully chat with friends in yahoo with MSN and vise versa now. its best to try it with yourself if you have both MSN and Yahoo.
