Hello,
When I turn on my computer, I always have to enter a password to start using my computer. No one else has access to my computer. Is there a way to remove the startup password procedure?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

I have the same problem as the person who initially asked the question. the advice you gave works once your computer has already opened, and you want to change the user account.

The password prompt that we're talking about is when you just turn on the computer. if the password is not answered the computer wont go open up any further...its just a black screen with the password prompt!!

is there anything else you can recommend???

Thanks,

Fay
