How to connect games in lan

Hello,
is there any can help?..please help me i already connect my two pc using router and it already ping with each other buut why i cnt play dota,cs,c&c, starcraft and all lan games ....only nba 2008 run using two pc coz we need to type the ip configuration manualy in nba games...
please help me whats wrong with my connection?..please enumerate it step by step so that i cn follow whats wrong with my settings..
i already turn off my firewall and ip config of my pc's are 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2...i am very confused?...plz help me...

since you can find both computers in the network,
you need to check the settings in the game's option.
